The stairs creaked as they walked; absently, John added to the list of 'things to fix, sometime' and filed it away. He was careful not to look back at Bobby except for one teasing smile - John could barely remember his own first time with a guy. His first time with a girl was clearer, but even then, he hadn't been totally sober. And he certainly didn't want to add to the pressure by being overly concerned.

He deliberately let the comment about selling it slip by.
