"I got that impression," John told him, and straightened up to lean on the counter a bit on his elbows, and just drunk in the sight of his former friend. "Look. Let's table the tour for a bit," he decided, before moving past Bobby to open up the refrigerator and bend down to pull two beers from the bottom shelf, placing them on the counter in the middle of the kitchen. "There's a lot you don't know about me, Frosty, so either punch me or have a beer and then we can move to the Twenty Questions round of the day's events and work out some stuff."
Finally managing a smile, John pulled out his lighter from a pocket and placed it next to the beers, disarming himself as he reached for one of the beers and twisted the top off with a grunt. "I'll even be a gentleman and let you ask the first question. I mean, I've always been an open book," he added, and that smile was perhaps more of a smirk now than it started.
